Augmented Reality Sesame Street. Very well done. Interacting with real toys and a digital world. After watching it I do wonder if this kills creativity for kids as they can only do what other people thought of. Not think of their own special world and create their own stories without this AR world. I think there is a time and place for AR and this is not it.

To promote the new FT-86 concept sports car, they created a website based on a painted wall that the very busy Shinjuku station. Web developers turned different parts of the painting into clickable links, and the site was able to respond in real time to tweets and Likes.

Star Trek is about to get real with this 3d projection that doesn’t require you to put on glasses. Needs work on the framerate but it’s awesome nonetheless. Hat tip to @hellokinsella
